This poll would appear to be on outlier, but we'll see soon enough. The internals tell the real story. The democrats are competitive only because they are winning the black vote 92-4 and the Hispanic vote by 20 points. Their position is utterly dependent on encouraging tribalism.

Republicans have a different set of problems, but I'll take our problems over theirs any day. At least the Republicans are not dependent on lying about the opposition and advocating a clearly counterproductive cult of victimization and welfarism as the "solution" to every problem.

Buried in the article, the evidence that shows their headline to be spin...

“But the individual state polling tells a slightly different story: Three new NBC/Marist polls also released this Sunday morning show Republicans with the advantage in Georgia, Kentucky and Louisiana, giving the GOP a clear path to a Senate majority next year.”

The headlines today are spin and chicanery... NBC, Washington Post, HuffPo

Read the details. Have several grains of salt available.

The poll margin of error in the 10 Senate Battleground States is +-5.9%. Interesting that it would end up that high.

This is a generic poll. Generic polls are “I wish” polls. There is a big difference between “I wish” and I will go out and vote. So far the early voting everywhere show Democrats aren’t wishing THAT hard. This is a psy-ops poll designed to buck up Democrats.
