By RYAN PARKER Three children were killed when they were hit by a car while trick-or-treating in O.C.; driver fled scene Three teenage girls were killed by a hit-and-run driver Friday evening while they were trick-or-treating in Santa Ana, police said.
The three were struck by a driver "going at a high rate of speed" while they were in a crosswalk in the area of Old Grand Street and Fairhaven Avenue, near Fairhaven Elementary School, said Anthony Bertagna, a spokesman for the Santa Ana police.

Santa Ana is predominately a Hispanic area, most likely the driver was Hispanic as well I wouldn’t be surprised, probably illegal and uninsured
Stupid drivers; holidays always the worse time. I noticed the kids who came to our door mostly had parents with them and all but one group had a flash light or something. Someone needs to supervise the little tykes.
If its an illegal driver, I hope Gov. Brown’s challenger (Kashkari) uses this in a TV ad. Its time to fight back just like the Rats do.

Three dudes in a Pathfinder hit children and bail, yeah I have no doubt they are illegal..the witness saw all three of them flee..the kids are between the ages of 13-15..paramedics arrived but there was nothing they could do, so very sad

For those who aren’t from these parts, Santa Ana, Ca has been over run by illegal aliens for years now. Always same MO, hit and run and drunk driving seems to be part of the culture.
Hope they catch the creep pronto.

I work in Santa Ana and saw an ambulance head toward the scene. Very sad.
