Who makes these machines (Dibold? Sequoia? Texas?) Who are the major shareholders? To whom do the owners of these companies donate to in election cycles? Just curious. Guess I'll check this out.

Diebold, IIRC.
The ones the Dems were whining about would make everything Republican. AFTER THEY insisted everything be “electronic”, as if that would make it fool- or tamper-proof.
