Hillary Clinton says businesses don’t create jobs.

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s recent comment about trickledown economics has launched a war of spin.

First, here’s what the likely 2016 presidential candidate said at a campaign event last Friday for Martha Coakley, the Massachusetts Democratic gubernatorial candidate:

“Don’t let anybody tell you that it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs,” former Secretary of State Clinton said in Boston. “You know that old theory, trickledown economics. That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly. One of the things my husband says when people say, ‘What did you bring to Washington?’ He says, ‘I brought arithmetic.’

She said it. Not out of context. This needs to be plastered everywhere. And for the record, let me state my feelings on her premise:

"Go F^ck yourself you dried up hag"

I guess she didn’t learn much about economics when you took money for serving on the corporate boards of Walmart and Monsanto. They at least created one job (for a witch).

Hillary sounds intelligent when hubby Bill gives her the words to say... beyond that she makes Biden look like a friggin’ genius. Bill must be off with some Bimbo...

While I don’t agree with her, I believe she is saying that demand creates jobs.

What Hillary Clinton meant was that as a Senator of New York she did nothing to produce jobs there. The people of New York have been paying for her ineptness ever since.

Shadow: You need to read or listen to her words. She never even remotely mentions “demand” or even hints at it. Its the same nonsense Obama spews.

The Democrat pooper-scooper media, ever ready to clean up their politicians’ messes, say that consumers create business. Wonder where they think consumers get the money to buy stuff.

They’d probably say from government, because so many Democrats are government bureaucrats or get government support checks of various sorts, but government does not produce anything.

Businesses and corporations produce the wealth that government confiscates in taxes so they can give checks to their growing dependency bloc. That’s why Big Government gets nervous when U.S. companies move their headquarters to other lower-tax nations. Does Hillary really not know this???

She’s an absolute nut.

She is stealing lines from Elizabeth Warren and Obama. “You didn’t build that.”

While I don’t agree with her, I believe she is saying that demand creates jobs.

Indirectly, that's probably what she means. But she also implies that demand is, in turn, created by Wise Government Social Policy, rather than simple human growth.

These Marxist Dems screw up once in awhile and say what they are actually thinking.

Even on the Hillary scale, she’s achieved a new level of stupid with that remark.

Agreed. Her idea of where growth and demand originate is way out in left field and not close to the truth.

In a normal world this comment would end her political career. And she has been the recipient of mucho trickle down.

When exactly has cutting taxes and regulations, thus freeing up capital, been a “spectacular failure?”
