I note an article where Ivory Coast shut down their borders, bordering on two of the nations where the outbreak has happened and Ivory Coast have no cases, hell, fruit bats could fly into Ivory Coast from those two nations, Guinea and Liberia.

Other countries should follow suit instead of this pussy-footing going on in the name of political correctness. So Australia showed it had some grit to do this.

Given that the possible worse case scenario could be significant, even if the chance is low then I think it is being prudent and good risk management.
It is not a massive call to make unless your life revolves around who you can call racist or not. Very little immediate response from the left but I can imagine the Greens coming out with the racist call in 5..4..3..2
I am heartened that someone in the Western World has some sense. Perhaps it will spread. Rooting for Canada to go next. It doesn’t help us (we’re beyond anything so sensible) but it makes me happy.
