Despite the damage 2012 (and probably 2008) brought us from just such “thinking.”

Exactly. Some simple minded Republicans let a few minor defects in Romney cause the voters to not vote. Many foolish Americans never learned the meaning of voting for the lesser of the two evils. Hence we have King Obama and almost a degree of destruction of America that it would take generations to correct if ever.

Idiots, miss Romney yet? And we see some of these simple minded Republican voters still at it. It doesn't matter what they think if the Republican voters in the primary select the candidate we have to vote in mass for that person no matter who he is. Else the communists party will finish America. GET IT!

Nikita S. Khrushchev would be shocked to learn how right he was in 1959.

If he was alive and running today, Ronald Reagan himself could not pass the “Conservative Enough” test. Same for Thomas Jefferson.

You would think people could understand the Buckley Rule. Unless of course, Buckley wasn’t Conservative Enough either.

The only idiots are those in the GOP. I voted for Romney, but good grief, the line up of primary contenders was pitiful. Romney? Seriously?

Vote for the most conservative candidate in the primaries, then hop on board (hold your nose) and get whatever republican in office....I agree. With that said:

We will NEVER turn this ship around with the likes of Romney, Bush, Ryan, Christie.

These people are not true conservatives. In fact, Romney flip flopped on many issues during the campaign. Flip flopped on stances he made years earlier while campaigning. 2nd amendment, abortion, socialized medicine, taxes, climate change. It is well documented through several sources.

FOLKS DIDN'T TRUST ROMNEY! Here is a grand idea, blame the GOP establishment for the loss. Fix your damn sucky candidates.

Along with the GOP fielding awful candidates, there was massive voter fraud during the 2012 election. Not only were there progressive operatives at the grass root level cheating, the government itself played a huge role from suing states for Voter ID laws, utilizing various gubbamint agencies to intimidate and or squelch conservative voices to include the immensely punitive IRS.

Look at the corruption in government. Folks are so cynical of their representatives and the electoral process that they've all but given up. Say what you will, but I don't blame them.

I hope it breaks. The sooner the better. This whole process needs a good shellacking, torn down and rebuilt exactly the way the framers intended.

My opinion, ya don't stop voting. Gotta keep on keepin on until ya just can't take that train down the tracks any further...then ya fight. That's my two cents.
