Yes, but by the first grade our kids can tell you about two daddies, two mommies, homosexual sex, LGBT topics, global worming, evil White men, the most disgusting nation on the face of planet earth, and a whole host of really important bits of information vital to the healthy upbringing of any child.

Skills and topics that are not important to the educator will not be instilled in the student.
We may have hit a critical tipping point where educators, many of whom I respect, have too much of their trade motivated by political agenda and not by the trade-craft they signed on to practice.
But they know how to use condoms.
And our first graders know what color trash can to throw what kind of garbage in.
We literally have a garbage-in garbage-out “education” system.
