If people who OPPOSE same sex marriages, decide NOT to go to the courthouse, the LACK of tax and license fees, will cause this all to be overturned. They need to give a HOLY MATRIMONY to genders that when the copulate can conceive. Tha’t the NATURAL order, everything else is just a civil union.

Indeed, which just naturally leads me to say NO FREAKIN’ WAY!!

Attorney General Tom Horne announced that the state wouldn't challenge a federal court decision....The particular judge wasn't named, but I guess it was a group of lib judges. In other words...I really don't know.

The LT Gov of N. Carolina had an interesting take on this. He said, "Wait a minute". A federal judge's ruling doesn't make gay marriage legal in our state.
The second ground is to assert that the memo directs him to contravene the North Carolina Constitution by performing a ceremony that is not recognized by law, and is in fact, prohibited by the marriage amendment. You may wonder how that is possible after Judge Cogburns ruling purporting to strike down our amendment. That is one of the beauties of federalism. As succinctly stated by North Carolinas Supreme Court in the case of State v. McDowell: A state court should exercise and apply its own independent judgment, treating, of course, decisions of the United States Supreme Court as binding and according to decisions of lower federal courts such persuasiveness as these decisions might reasonably command. North Carolina case law is clear. Decisions of the Fourth Circuit and federal district courts, while persuasive, are not binding on state courts.
Essentially, he's saying that the Supreme Court outranks the State, the same way as federal law outranks state law. But he seems to be saying that he doesn't think lower fed courts outrank a state supreme court. He has a point. The lower courts are just feeder courts to the Supreme Court. They aren't the Supreme Court.

expect to see more Christian owned businesses in AZ punished by the govt for refusing to help celebrate a homosexual “wedding”.

I sense an Old Testament event in the making:
"Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;
And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground."
(Genesis 19:24-25 KJV)

There is certainly something to be said for that argument. If SCOTUS has not ruled on the question, and if there is conflict among the lower Federal Courts, as I believe there is in this instance, it would seem to me that the lower court's decision is merely interlocutory in character and does not stand as precedent.

Gay Marriage Becomes Legal In Arizona Judges don't make laws. They only have legitimate power to decide individual cases that come before them, and then only according to our constitutions and the natural moral law.
And statutes made by legislatures that violate the laws of nature and nature's God are no laws at all either. Those lawless faux "laws" are null and void.
As long as people mistakenly believe that courts can make laws, or that courts have the veto power, or that legislators can arbitrarily make any old statute they want, this free republic cannot possibly be saved.

Thank you for clarification. Seems I have read that just recently. ;)
I think, though, the fact that AZ’s AG gave in to the threat from the court makes the perverts THINK they have this “right”.
Of course, we know they aren’t married in ANY sense of the word.
