Diogenes may be able to help you out with more recent quotes demonstrating Romney’s “former” pro-choice stance and/or his “miraculous” conversion to the sanctity of life (and marriage). Right around 2012 too imagine that.
It’s pretty undeniable which is why support for him was so reluctant around here. I mean at least McCain was pretty much consistently pro life and marriage.
Now I did vote for him (not that it made much difference in MD anyway which is why I kind of regret doing it now). Make no mistake though, no more RINO votes from me. I’m done with the icky feeling afterwards. Kind of like when you get suckered into buying a car you didn’t really want from a slick used-car salesman. Just never sat right, with me.

Just as an FYI - I hate the GOPe with every fiber of my being, I hate the Dem party even more but the fact is I will vote for the GOPe if they win the primary because I love my country more than I hate the GOPe. I dont like voting for the least worst option anymore than you, but when that is the choice we face I will pull the lever for the GOPe, even being as corrupt and cowardly as they are, they are still preferable to the treasonous dems. I would like to have the option to vote for a third party, a conservative but the fact is nobody other than an R or a D has a chance to win so a vote or a write-in for some other candidate is a vote for dem sponsored treason. I will continue to fight against any GOPe candidate in the primary but if we cannot field a candidate that can win the primary then I will pull the lever for the least worst that can win. If the day comes that Palin officially splits and starts a third party I’ll be right with her, until then voting for someone other than the R in a general is a fools errand where our country is concerned. That’s just my opinion but that’s what I have to act on.
