I don’t mind Doctors Without Borders given they get 2 months Quarantine when their service is done.

And we’re sending American troops over there? That’s downright brilliant. I wouldn’t do it, even if it meant brig time and a dishonorable discharge. When I joined the military, managing 3rd world disease outbreaks and being part of an international meals-on-wheels program is not what I signed up for.
I know he’s not popular on FR (for good reason!), but O’Reilly did have a good list of what should be followed. It included all of the aide workers having to remain off-shore in quarantine for 21 days before being allowed back in the country.
That should apply to everyone coming from west Africa.
Thank goodness the governors of NY and NJ are acting rationally. Why are these people allowed to just board a plane to the USA without a 21 day quarantine away from their work in Africa....that could contaminate a whole plane of people going to many places in the world...it makes zero sense.
My granddaughter wants to visit her mom for Thanksgiving and I’m not real happy about that.
Our in-laws just drove, instead of flying, from Florida to MD for a little shindig.
Of course, they are retired, so they have the time to do that.

I could also tell her no, her mom was supposed to pay and changed her mind so she just asked today if I would pay. She’s 18 and in college and gets to make her own choices but I don’t have to pay for them.

I mean, it's not like quarantining all arrivals from Ebola infected countries for 45 days would help. That would even hinder the effort to stop the virus in West Africa.
