I could also tell her no, her mom was supposed to pay and changed her mind so she just asked today if I would pay. She’s 18 and in college and gets to make her own choices but I don’t have to pay for them.

I think you have your answer right there.

I was chatting with blam a while ago. I am supposed to take my kids, 15 and 19, to see my dad; he lives near Chicago and can’t travel.

I do think eventually this will blow over, but he is getting on in years. I had started to feel a lot better about making plane reservations—and then this guy in NYC got sick.

If it doesn’t seem to spread a lot, and people are cured, then we’ll go, I guess. I won’t get nonrefundable tickets, that’s for sure. But I am very nervous about it and can’t really decide, which means, I guess, that I just am not ready to commit. I feel very guilty because I kept putting it off because I don’t like flying in the first place!
