Well, who else can Israel depend on...the US? Yeah, right.
LOL, I’m not quite buying in on this.
Sun Tzu also said, “All warfare is based on deception” (I:18). However, the liberals in Israel are willingly deluding themselves in this case. Someone who threatens to nuke Poland and Ukraine will be no friend in the end.
Israel seeks good positive peaceful relations with all nations on earth, but has to deal with realities as they are, too. Right now, USA administration is a clear, open enemy of Christians and Jews everywhere, including Obama’s withholding of ammo supplies right when Israel needed them the most to defend herself. Putin seems (who can really know?) to have a respect for Biblical faith. We will see how this goes... In the last 5 or 6 years, every nation on earth has learned that USA can no longer be trusted... Alas.
BUZZ.... I DON’T THINK SO...
Making friends with the Siberian Devil is fool hardy..
UNLESS the devil is in a cage..
Russia wholesale murders it’s own people.. Soooo;.... i.e. Ukrainian massacre.. 1932-1933 and some others..
What do “you” they think of Israel?..
Duuuuugh!..
BUT they do respect the murderous cult of Islam..
Devils of a feather flock together.. as they say...
>> The Bible says in Ezekiel 38-39 that Russia will lead a multi-national force (Iran, Turkey, Libya, Sudan, et.) against Israel.
That’s a common interpretation, although not the best one.
The interpretation that best fits Scripture (Ezekiel, Daniel, Revelation) as well as the original language of the prophecy is that the multinational force will be Islamic in nature and will originate from Turkey (not Russia, although it may include the Islamic republics to the south of Russia. Joel Richardson and others have done the LORD’s work in researching and teaching this interpretation.
The author begins by quoting a Bob Dylan song and that's as far as I cared to read.
Curious though, did that author mention that Putin supports Hamas and that he was critical of Israel for defending itself.
I skimmed. My mistake. I agree with most of your take on it,
Good comments. I am fairly certain of the eventual outcome.
What I might quibble with, is Putin’s biblical knowledge.
He may be a knowledgeable Christian. I’m nowhere convinced of it.
Is it the bit about Gog Magog?
Ezekiel 38 speaks of Gog king of Magog, not Russia by name. You may want to speculate that that must mean Russia, and you may be right or wrong, but you must keep the distinction between text and interpretation firmly in mind. With the present administration, I wouldn’t be surprised if Gog king of Magog is really Barry, or it could also be DAESH (ISIS to some), or both, or all three, or Persia (Iran to some).
