See how the rapist thug that was killed is an "unfortunate" victim. In addition, the other two rapist thugs "thankfully" survived to be lawfully apprehended by the police. This subtly implies disapproval of the grandfather defending his family instead of letting the police handle the criminals.
The author also says "When the three men attempted to force themselves on his 19-year-old granddaughter, Kenneth snapped and somehow managed to retrieve his own gun and defend his family." The keyword in this statement is the term "snapped". That word implies that the grandfather lost his mind or took leave of his senses. However, he clearly realized that the thugs were not just going to steal some belongings and then leave the family alone. Next, he had to face the reality that the police were not going to be there to stop these thugs from harming him & his loved ones; therefore, he made a sane heroic decision to defend his family from violent criminals rather than depending upon someone else to do that for him.
Although the author of this article correctly describes the grandfather as heroic, I suspect the author is an anti-gun liberal. It is fortunate that the grandfather had a gun.
I fail to see what is "unfortunate" about this piece of information.
I'm trying to figure out what's so unfortunate. What's really unfortunate is that the other two weren't also found in that condition.
Yep, noticed that stuff, too.
Left to Right: Jamie Lee Faison (Deceased), Brandon Stephens, Jamar Hawkins
Gonna be tough to resell that car with all the blood and guts on the front seat.
I think it is unfortunate that the other to thugs did not join the dead one in the afterlife.
Nice going, Gramps. You rock!!
To my way of thinking, the 20 year old got off cheap, compared to the torture he would have received in prison as the tender young thing forced to spend years in the hands of hardened criminals.
I think the writer meant that it was unfortunate that there was only one dead guy in the front seat of the car, and not three. At least that’s how I see it.
How many lives were saved by the killing of that Gentle Giant?
Definitely caught the “unfortunate” part, as did others.
‘The keyword in this statement is the term “snapped”. That word implies that the grandfather lost his mind or took leave of his senses’
I don’t think that is necessarily bad. After all, Lambert the Sheepish Lion also “snapped” and saved his momma!
Charming. Truly representing the range of races.
Do all low-class thugs use the same salute?
“Unfortunately, the 20-year-old was found lifeless in the front seat “
The unfortunate part is that he’s age 20, if he was aged 19, it gets included in the teen gun deaths stats !
After looking at the mug shots Obama is probably beaming “if nothing else I fixed race relations amongst rapist and thieves”
Damn shame we’re going to have to pick up the hospital bill for the other two thugs. We’re going to pick up the hospital bills, court cost, prison cost, court cost, prison cost, court cost, prison cost, court cost, prison cost, court cost, prison cost, court cost, prison cost, court cost, prison cost, court cost, prison cost, ............... you know how it works. We’ll be paying for these wild animals the rest of their lives.
By saying that the grandfather killed the guy “for” attempting to rape his granddaughter, the headline erroneously suggest that the shooting was a punishment. It wasn’t — it was in the defense of the shooter’s granddaughter, WHILE the rapist was attempting to rape the granddaughter, and in order to make him stop. The former would be illegal, and no-one on this board would ever condone that. Using deadly force to stop a rape in progress is legal, and we’re all in favor of that.
Just a thought to bear in mind as we contemplate this happy news. I sure hope the grandfather pulls through. His granddaughter should be very proud of him and very grateful that he had the courage to confront these very bad young men.
Just look in the thug’s eyes and think about it...HE’s DEAD. Never to see life again. Rotting. Soul probably in Hell...probably for a long time too.
Hats off to Grandpa. But he needs to spend more time at the range, and maybe get a larger caliber.
I have a .32, a 9mm, and a .45. Just shooting them I can tell the difference. Guess which one is my go to gun?
