A Harlem doctor who recently treated patients in Africa, tested positive for the deadly disease after he was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with symptoms, including a 103-degree fever, sources told The Post.

Spencer had spent Wednesday night bowling in Williamsburg. He used an Uber car service to get to and from the Brooklyn neighborhood.
Hipster bowling hot spot The Gutter was closed last night due to unforseen circumstances.

Don’t you know he has a limp wrist?
Have you ever noticed how elderly patients, suffering from various forms of dementia, often want to “go home”?
I sense/understand their desire, to run from their present nightmare of confusion to a safer and happier place they remember from their past.
Don’t most of us, when confronted with a modern world we do not recognize as normal/orderly, with commonly understood rules, want to go back to a world that made more sense to us? A world where everyone did their human best to measure up to the commonly agreed upon rules of human conduct and relationships?
Don’t most of us feel overwhelmed by the social/moral morass we are presently subjected to daily, and wish we could time-warp back to when there was some semblance of social cohesion?
I certainly would give anything to escape the present, to go back to a more familiar world, where people honored their commitments to those close to them, who honored the accepted values and rules of community behavior, and could feel shame - retreating in disgrace when they had violated community standards.
But, that is no more - is it time for Atlas to “shrug”? I do not know, but sense that it might be coming soon. There is only so much we can take.

hat kind of doctor goes bowling? Isn’t that for the rubes? The kind of idiots who vote Republican and drive pick up trucks?
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
They can catch it taking off their suits if the virus on the outside gets on their hands or they wipe their eyes or nose. I worry about our Marines and the 101 Airborne (I think “they” did that on purpose) over in Liberia.
Apparently one of the first symptoms of active Ebola is an overwhelming desire to travel. :-(((
This is so good the tonight show would have paid $500 for it.
“Wonder what medical school he graduated from? I guess will find out in due time.”
Yeah, it’ll be in his obit.
LOL
You can send it in... :-)
But it is weird isn’t it - seems like only the one nurse in Dallas didn’t jump on some sort of public transportation.
The #ing POS should have self-quarantined for weeks before heading back to the US. But maybe the POS preferred to be treated in the US.
he’s experiencing shameful joy that the country’s being infected with ebola. (i’m calling it shameful, he may know it’s wrong to be happy about it).
It’s martial law you frickin buffoon.
Thanks for taking my comment completely out of context. Great job.
For real? Go back to bed.
What I REALLY posted.

Your response to me.
Are you accusing me of putting down people who bowl, because that's not what I said, not even close.
I didn't know at the time, it was trendy among the hipsters to hang out in Brooklyn and do things like go bowling. I also didn't know the good doctor fancied himself as some type of trendy. Now I know.
My apologies for offending.
No problem. I probably should have worded it better. I come from a long proud line of flyover hicks. I even bowl on a league. My apologies for the confusion.
I thought the bowling alley opened today with the mayor of NYC showing up. No?
I must say I’m surprised. Pleasantly.
Who knows how much business they lost over those days though.
