All: does anybody know exactly how many confirmed Ebola cases there have been in the US so far?
I count 3, with Duncan as Patient 0, then the 2 nurses, one of whom has now been pronounced free of the disease.
So is this another confirmed case? How many other confirmed cases have there been beyond the initial 3?
Have they nipped this thing in the bud yet or not?
Not even close.
Consider this thing is like a wild fire. It is burning out of control in West Africa. Every day people leave that area. They like embers floating on the wind. They are going to land wherever that wind is going to take it.
We are not even close to this being under control.
Given those 'in charge' of this CF, would you trust your childrens' proximity to that diagnosis ?
There was a case taken to Emory, but they would not release his/her name, because that person wanted privacy. I believe it was a healthcare worker returned from Africa.
"(Reuters) - There have been eight cases of Ebola seen in the United States since the beginning of August. A Liberian man who died Oct. 8 in a Dallas, Texas hospital was the first person diagnosed with the virus on U.S. soil.

It’s not going to get “nipped” as long as Obama keeps allowing fresh patient zero cases into the U.S. Sooner or later one of those is going to light the fire.
Nope. ... and the hits just keep coming.
We need a list.
0. Duncan. - died
1 nurse 1 -
2 nurse 2 -
3 Doctor returned from Africa (first one)
