Former Secretary of Labor Bob Reich, on behalf of MoveOn, warns Democrats what will happen if Republicans take control of the Senate: they may use a tricky, little-known maneuver to ram through their right-wing policies with only 51 votes, instead of the 60 votes usually required in the Senate. Here he is:

Boehner and McConnell will never ever do that, though.
Shut up Robert and eat your Lucky Charms...
Doctor’s hate this one weird trick used to pass Obamacare.
Tit for tat. You kill my dog, I kill your cat. The slimbs that figured out the “tricky, little-known maneuver” just out maneuvered themselves and I am love’n it!
Haven’t heard from that midget in a while.
They ought to know ... they wrote the book on tricky-little know maneuvers.
They’ll all be up in their trees like a bunch of howler monkeys when the shoe is on the other foot.
Bank on it.
Buwahahahahaha.
My little brother used to hate when inwould use his rule interpretations against him. He was immature and we were using monopoly money... Just like the US Congress.
Panty wastes. All of them.

Indeed, if the GOPe had cajones. However I expect a power sharing arrangement to show bipartisanship and trust on behalf of the likes of McConnell, McCain, and Graham. Being liked is better after all than standing on principles.(s/)
I don’t like when either side plays numbers games. Sadly, to get things back on the right track, we’re going to have to use the same tactics at least in part.
What a colossal screw up!
The GOPe will never do that however. What is needed is a more Sopranos approach with an escalation at each stage and real punishments for the Rats, but I expect the McConnell will come as close to co-management as possible, should he become majority leader.
We could only hope the Republicans would use that “little known trick.” But alas, Republican Politicians still aren’t smart enough to learn from tricks invented and used by democrats.
Wait until the Dems in the Senate want to filibuster a judicial nomination. The nation will erupt to screams of “unconstitutional power grabbing by Republicans”. Don’t expect any me ntion of Harry Reid being the architect of that Senate rule change.
We’ve got a lot of meatheads here that are perfectly fine with the republicans not gaining control of the senate.
We need a little known trick to offset Obama’s well known “executive order trick.”
I don’t care he the GOP does it, but neuter Obama and ground AF 1/2.
We need another national “reset” button.
Our founders suggested this would be necessary “from time to time...”
(draw thy own conclusions)
Boo Freaking Hoo
True...but it was those tactics that got us here.
No harm using them to fix the mess.
Except Zero won’t sign a thing.
The “reset button” isn’t going to work out so well over the next two years if Obama has control of the senate.
