Few deserve a beat down, but I hope this little dumb@ss figured out she should NOT be out at 2:30am, ALONE, on the streets of Gotham. Yeesh!
Perhaps she should have been wearing a burka and been escorted by a male relative?
There are many, many places where she could be out at 2:30 AM in NYC and remain as safe as safe can be; Crown Heights, however, is not one of them.
At least until Batman is able to clear the streets...
Unless and until the population decide to take back their streets and/or empower their police departments to sweep the streets, they are choosing to live with these risks...in the name of PC for fear of “offending” or being called a name [racist].
Oh, that’s happened to me in a couple other big cities. Or rather the attempt was made. But I always (if legal) have a knife on me and I know how to use it. Sometimes (again if legal) a concealed handgun.
Some reason, muggers turn tail and run when you pull a weapon and they realize that they could be the one who gets hurt.
Now, I am 6’4” and just under 190 lbs., so my size plus a knife is a viable deterent. A gun is always a viable deterent regardless of your size.
My point? ALWAYS BE ARMED. And avoid places you aren’t allowed to be armed if at all possible! (I personally avoid several entire cities and states unless business makes it absolutely mandatory that I go there.)
