I just read a bit on the Philistines. Maybe the experts are right and they don’t have any relation to the modern Palestinians.
It appears they were probably either Greek or Minoan colonists. They were fierce warriors and worthy opponents to the Israelites. They were not even always their enemy.
The Palestinians on the other hand always lose to the Israelis.
I think the Philistines were around centuries before Christ. Wasn’t it the Romans who called the area Palestine? No connection.
