Doesn't sound like the US agreed, then changed their mind. The FBI and intelligence simply used their common sense and proceeded. There was no positive decision from the administration. Until Holder stepped in, he was positive we should do nothing. Other than disliking Israel and/or Jews, I wonder what the rationale could be.

The reason is obvious. Holder supports the terrorists. Same for Obama.

This and the story confirmed today that he held back contracted military deliveries to Israel during the Gaza offensive is reinforcing in bunker concrete the absolute loathing I have for him and his ilk.

Obama is a Sunni Muslim. Any other questions?

Oron was a good looking kid.

It is sad that these young men must die but it is necessary for them to be put in harms way. I wonder if there will ever be peace in that area?

Yes I know that Jesus will establish a thousand year reign of peace but until then it seems that Palestine will always be in turmoil.

I actually was just thinking of Jonathan, David’s best friend and Son of Saul who was slain in battle with the Philistines. I know experts say they are different people but I think the Palestinians are the descendants of the Philistines.

The rationale could be that the US will do nothing to help Israel, as payback for their rejecting Kerry’s “peace plan” and mocking him. Also, for reaching agreements with Egypt without US participation and authorization.

Israel is getting too darn independent in this Administration’s view, and must be taught a lesson.

There are no more Philistines and the people who currently call themselves Palestinian have no relation; no more than they could claim relation to one of twenty different peoples or tribes that have resided in that area in history. Modern day Palestinians are a hodgepodge of Arabic people from the greater Egyptian and Syrian, Lebanese and Jordanian areas.

It is frequently difficult to ascertain the intentions of the O admin. Actions are taken that are clearly incompetent. As well, some actions are obvious attempts to side with our enemies. These are not JV players. They are children with ridiculous ideas messing about in business they do not understand.

Absolutely, no peace until the prophecy given at His birth is fulfilled by the death of every human who refuses to have Him rule over them. That brings peace on earth.

I just read a bit on the Philistines. Maybe the experts are right and they don’t have any relation to the modern Palestinians.

It appears they were probably either Greek or Minoan colonists. They were fierce warriors and worthy opponents to the Israelites. They were not even always their enemy.

The Palestinians on the other hand always lose to the Israelis.

I think the Philistines were around centuries before Christ. Wasn’t it the Romans who called the area Palestine? No connection.

Yes it appears the Philistines moved into that area well before the Trojan War.

Palestine does sound like a Roman word.
