Republican challenger Tom Foley still leads Democratic incumbent Dan Malloy in their Connecticut gubernatorial rematch as voters continue to grumble about the job Malloy has done over the past four years.
Foley now picks up 50% of the vote to Malloys 43% in a new statewide telephone survey of Likely Connecticut Voters. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate in the race, and four percent (4%) are undecided.

A gray area.
He said, in regards to Connecticut's extreme anti-2A law: "If the legislature handed me a repeal provision of that bill, I would sign it, Foley said Wednesday night. Thats not saying I would seek repeal of the bill. That doesn't say much in a DEM controlled state congress.
He has the support of the CCDL (Connecticut Citizens Defense League), but I think it is because the democrat challenger, Malloy, is an extremist gun grabber.
I have reason to believe that he wouldn't enforce the extreme anti-2A law that Malloy enacted. But he won't repeal it either.
There is another candidate running (Visconti) who would actively seek to repeal the law. But Visconti doesn't stand a chance.
