Fauci tries to calm US after missteps on Ebola, amid concerns Americans have lost faith

America’s top infectious disease expert on Sunday again acknowledged that the safety protocols used for the nation’s first Ebola patient were inadequate, and that the Obama administration overstated the country’s readiness for the deadly virus, amid concern that Americans have already lost faith in the government.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told “Fox News Sunday” that the adopted World Health Organization protocol for handling an Ebola patient was better suited for field work than confined hospital care. -snip- Murphy also said the so-called Ebola czar that the president appointed to oversee the federal response, Ron Klain, will not calm such fears.

“The American people are looking for knowledge and expertise,” he told Fox News. “He has none in these fields.”

After the slaughter of Foot Hood the biggest concern Obama and the MSM had was that an ‘islamaphobe’ would hurt a Muslim. It did NOT happen. It was a lie to slander the victims of Fort Hood and their families..

Boston Marathon Killing Field was the same - the BIG concern was islamaphobes’... It was a lie to slander the victims of the bombing and their loved ones.

Number of Americans killed by radical Muslims in the last 30 years: thousands.

Number of American Muslims killed by ‘islamaphobes’ in the last 30 years: ZERO.

The new ‘panic’ meme liberals are putting out is the same...

Democrats are aiming their hatred at people who are concerned about protecting their families. If Democrats had a slogan it would be ‘Don’t Worry, Be Happy’ because that slogan works for the stupid, the sociopathic and those who crave control over middle class parents - the people most concerned about protecting the next generation..

Number of people in Africa and the United States (together) killed by Ebola - THOUSANDS.

Number of people in the United States and Africa killed by ‘panic’: ZERO

Fauci made the Faustian bargain. Selling his soul to the prince of Darkness to save his job will come at a terrible price. Now, Fauci is neither a man of science or a man of integrity.
It’s all about keeping the borders open for undocumented Democrats. In order to track everyone, you’d have to have border control at the border and all points of entry.

Fauci does know better, but he will not use his knowledge to protect the public. He would do what Nigeria is doing if he had a shred of integrity left.
He is correct when he states that Ebola carriers would resort to more devious efforts to enter the country. In his view, this would make them harder to track. But this is true only when you have a situation when the borders are wide open.
Of course, it is heresy to consider securing the border with Mexico. That would mean stemming the flow of undocumented Dmocrats, and no matter how many people die of Ebola, if we can just get one more Democrat voter, it’s worth it. As far as Canada is concerned, you would just need a joint declaration with the US to close entry to hot zone travelers and refugees.

Did you see him on TV today? He made the statement that the PPE used in Dallas was OK for use in the field in Africa, but not for use in the USA where more complicated treatments were available.

Yet the pictures from Africa very plainly show that they are using full coverage-not just the standard isolation garb that the CDC originally stated was sufficient.

So I am a bit confused as to what he meant by “in the field”.

Fauci is smart but he is also a BIG self-promoting medical politician. He sounds really upset they offered the job to the lawyer and not to him. LOL

I’m reading this as Fauci smelling blood with the badly fumbled naming of Klain as so-called Ebola Czar. He’s talking himself up.

Chances are that those in full coverage were MSF(Mediciines Sans Frontiers/Doctors without Borders)who have already lost nine of their doctors to Ebola combat.
The ones in N-95 Masks and aprons were probably CDC.
MSF has the expierience in the field.
The CDC has expierience from from Washington,
has already sold out their souls to Media in order to keep people from panicing, and keeping "OPEN BORDERS" agenda.
"In the field" signifies that the CDC is willing to risk having some more American Ebola patients since they don't have adequate PPE coverage as provided by MSF.

Either Dr. Laurie , or Dr. Fauci , both by trraining and expierience ,would make excellent people to control the spread of Ebola stateside.
Dr. Fauci may have repeated the administration "Open Borders", and the original DemoRAT line about Repubs cutting the CDC budget, but he seems to be backing up.
Dr. Laurie was specificly assigned, trained , and expierienced at dealing with potential disaster, her politics agenda remains unknown.
Dr. Klaine (who really isn't a doctor) is best known for Solylindra , and bundleing funds to DemoRATs .
To me , this shows nothing short of distain and ignorance by the administration of the Ebola issue and contempt for the American people.

That action is criminal negligence - now with malice before thought, if they don’t also improve their “field” protections.
