A new Marquette Law School poll finds the Wisconsin gubernatorial race tied with Gov. Scott Walker (R) and Democratic challenger Mary Burke each getting 47 percent support among likely voters.
The most recent Marquette poll's findings, released on Wednesday, contrast a previous Marquette poll which showed Walker leading Burke by 5 percentage points.
The most recent poll's findings underscore what other polls have shown about the race: that Walker and Burke are only separated by a small margin.
The new Marquette poll also suggests that Burke has, at the very least, not totally lost her chance to win the race in the wake of revelations that a staffer on her campaign seems to have plagiarized from other past Democratic campaigns.
The new poll was conducted among 803 likely voters and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
The TPM Polltracker average finds Walker with a 0.4 point lead over Burke.
He should stay as governor.
It makes no sense to run an open borders candidate from the midwest. The whole point is to turn out more non-hispanic voters in the midwest states to make up for the Documented Democrats in the Southwest.
Scott Walker has always run lackluster, soft sell campaigns. He has won every time, but it’s not because of his approach I believe, and this time it might not be enough.
Burke is a plagiarizer. She has hardly held a job. She’s a trust fund limousine Leftist. Her daddy’s company outsources their bike manufacturing to China.
WI has two major problems, Madison and Milwaukee. Of the two cities, the people of Madison are truly pathetic, disgusting and downright evil people. If the US was composed of people that think and act like those in Madison, the US would rapidly surpass Nazi Germany in acts of tyranny.
Vote fraud is going to be more difficult in Wisconsin since the state has a new voter identification law in place.
Watch what he does.....Act 10 basically kicked the teachers union and public union's ass here. He's reformed spending, taxes and has changed the voting laws.
He is NOT a RINO.
Walker endorsed Marco Rubios amnesty plan.
Walker came out against additional border security.
Walker came out against repealing Obamacare.
Walker came out against spending cuts.
Walker endorsed the Ryan-Murray budget deal.
The rats have stuffed the ballot boxes in the backseats of taxis in case they are needed!
The left is in ecstasy over Richard Posner’s dissent which repeats all the usual liberal talking points (that voter fraud is so rare as to be virtually non-existent, that the only reason Republicans want to require photo IDs is to suppress voting by poor blacks, etc.).
The poll is just taking the margin of fraud into account. Since the Supreme Court (thanks again Roberts) decided that the libs need to have one more chance at vote fraud it erased Walker’s lead.
Funny, Roberts used to have common sense but lately whenever Obama really needs something he betrays his oath of office and his country. It sure seems like Obama has something on him.
You’re crossing posting this garbage - your little mantra appears across multiple posting boards - mofopoltics, ronpaulforums...what a load. You’re a dip.
No, we’’re not. Women are equally divided between the two candidates - so the issue of Burke running for Gov. as a purely gender-related race is null. Men favor Walker throughout the State. Even liberal Madison has at least 38 percent of registered voters favoring Walker. Milwaukee turnout in midterms is notoriously slight and the dems are doing everything to get turnout - so they’ll eventually get obama to show up. And that will be the bullet behind the ear to Burke. Obama’s well-known reverse Midas touch.
Obamacare interview with Larry Kudlow.
LARRY KUDLOW: You would repeal ObamaCare all-together.
GOV. SCOTT WALKER: Hands-down

Great line!
Alternate "even a liberal can do it."
Towards the end of the interview, Bannon noted that Amnesty is about the sovereignty of the country. But, he asked Walker, the Washington Post said earlier that youre pro-pathway to citizenship.
See now thats where they take it out of context, Walker said in response. Ive not said there should be amnesty in this country. I dont believe that. I dont support the legislation being kicked around. What Ive said repeatedly is we need to fix the immigration system, but fix the legal system. So if people want to come in this country we should have a legal immigration system.
Bannon then interjected: And take care of the borders and everything we have to do first.
Walker concurred, saying that any immigration reform efforts should fix the front door.

Walkers budget slashed school budgets $2.6 billion alone...eliminated a date deficit of $3.6 billion and cut our taxes. So knock that shit off about him not wanting to cut spending.
This is about the time the guy that runs the poll has things go neck and neck in the run up to the election. Nothing changed here in wi from the week before other than Burke not coming off strongly in debate.
Same poll had a deadlocked race with Barrett in the recall just two years ago and walker was elected an hour after the polls closed.
Honestly before the release at 1215 today I said to myself the poll would have it tied.
A 5pt lead is a virtual tie.
Latest Marquette poll calls Walker-Burke race a dead heat.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Walker is no RINO. Take it from someone who is on the ground in WI. Walker has been a great governor, and he desrves your vote. If you can’t vote, send $$$. He has to fight the unions all the way.
Unfortunately not true. The US Supreme Court issued a stay and Voter ID will not be in effect.
Amen.....there are all sorts of knee jerk knuckleheads talking about Walker who don’t know the guy other than gravitating to snippets of information carved out of a much larger interview where he discussed the matter in greater detail, making his points clear. This place is unbearable at times.
