Interestingly enough I've had occasion to visit the hospital in St Lucia ( Pulled a Danish woman out of the surf who had broken her neck) and you are spot on. While waiting in the hospital I glanced out of a window set ajar and there was a cow pasture directly beneath the window with the concomitant patties - no screen on the window, so flies were visiting the cow pasture and flying directly into the hospital.
Luckily a couple of hours later they Medivac'd her out to Barbados.
