Amber Joy Vinson
CLEVELAND, Ohio Did you spot or make contact with Dallas Ebola patient Amber Joy Vinson during her recent trip to Ohio?
Vinson, 29, was diagnosed with Ebola this week after visiting family in Akron. She came to the region last week and returned to Dallas Monday on a Frontier Airlines flight out of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport....

There is an incubation period according to the WHO and CDC. 2 to 21 days so look at the Steelers Monday night Oct. 20. That is in the “zone”
#Can you trust that the President who couldnt do a website will control Ebola? # pass it on
It's really my hair! I bought it!
Lol...
0bama....Controls 0bola like he creates websites.
I think I undesratb what he is trying to say, and his point is actually logical (to a point), but explained horribly. I think that what he was getting at is that (a) Ebola is spread through bodily fluids, so unless the Ebola patient is actively vomiting/bleeding/etc, you are unlikely to get it simply sitting on a bus with someone who has it, but (b) if you have Ebola, you way we’ll start vomiting and bleeding and the like, so you should avoid getting on buses where you may end up vomiting/etc on others.
“I mentioned to an acquaintance of mine that the nurse should not have travelled on public transportation. The reply was, She didnt. She flew on a plane.
Upon questioning it became apparent that some believe public transportation is the bus, occasionally a taxi, but only if the city pays for it. If you pay yourself, it is not public transportation.
Not kidding.”
This is why, regardless of how good our facilities are, and how well protecals are followed, we are pretty much guaranteed a pandemic: sheer, unadulterated, galactic-level STUPIDITY.
Guess what: Planet of the Apes was right, the monkeys win. We will kill ourselves off.
That sounds like a prime example of liberal logic to me.
Well, unfortunately, it's gonna take out hapless, too.
When in doubt, check your assumptions.

People can be educated but that doesn’t make them smart or logical. I would have quarantined myself if my job was caring for someone with a communicable deadly disease. This is ridiculous. The entire staff who took care of Mr. Duncan should have been quarantined and helped to make arrangements for taking care of their pets and families while they stayed in quarantine for 30 days, the hell with 21 days.
Just because someone is educable doesn’t make them logically intelligent.
CNN reporting she called CDC prior to traveling back to Dallas. You guessed it.......................CDC said she could get on the plane even though she had a fever.
CDC practicing taqiya, no doubt.
Every time I hit the Refresh Button this whole thing gets crazier to the point of being unbelievable. Where are the grownups? Is there any competent person in this administration?

Thanks for the ping!
LMAO. Earl is a treasure (and an evil genius).
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
