Yes she did. And her knowing the type of patient she had treated, it was irresponsible of her to board that aircraft.

” ..... it was irresponsible of her to board that aircraft.”

Exactly what I was thinking. That and reckless.

Thomas Eric Duncan was irresponsible, dishonest, and reckless the way he came over too.

The first set of contacts of the index patient was 46 or so. Then on Friday night, they told us about Ms. Pham, who was not on the watch list. This nurse may have been on the second set of health workers, who were not, stupidly, told to monitor themselves. If so, she was already on her way to Cleveland.

The big question is, what were the instructions were given to both sets of contacts? Where they told to self-quarantine and that is to shelter in place? Or were they told, just to take their temperature twice a day? Or just take their temperature if they felt hot?

I think one of the characteristics not mention about Ebola victims, other than convulsing, thrashing wildly, and peeing and puking on others, some doing it seemingly viciously, is that they are wont to put loved ones in danger.

Exhibit Duncan who slept in the same bed with his fiance and in the same house with her children.

Nancy Silverman who potentially could have spread it to the soup gourmandes at her favorite high end comfort food joint.

And Nurse Vinson who went to visit family and pre-wedding well-wishers. Did she tell them all about her experiences with the index patient or was she mum?

As far as I know nurse Pham called in sick for a few days before she took the temperature that led her to the emergency room-—where, if memory serves, she read on her iphone that she had Ebola. They did not tell her directly first. How is that for clear communication!
