Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Sylvia Burwell said the U.S. government did not sufficiently respond to the Ebola crisis in the United States.
“We could have done much better [on] the oversight of the the implementation of the protocols,” Burwell told NBC’s Matt Lauer on Wednesday.
Burwell said the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sent a “full team” to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, where Thomas Eric Duncan was diagnosed and treated for Ebola.
Burwell lamented that the implementation of protocols to treat Ebola patients and protect health care workers could have been more robust.

It’s quite easy to implement. Everyone getting on a flight to the US already has to go through customs before they are allowed to board the flight.
You now just simply check their passports to see if they have recently visited west Africa. If they have they are not allowed to board the flight to the US! Problem solved!

Wouldn’t any reasoning person expect that after we announce to the world that we’re flying Ebola victims here, then announce that our tobacco leaf gene cure worked, that victims would do whatever they could to get here for that cure?
The top ten people that orchestrated, enabled, and approved that (and the top ten people that allowed sick South Americans in and shipped them across America) need to be known publicly, permanently removed from whatever office they hold, and thoroughly investigated.
