CDC Director Frieden: If the US Bans Travel From West Africa Ebola Will Spread (Liberal Logic)
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com ^ | 10-14-2014 | Jim Hoft

CDC Director Dr. Tom Frieden went on The Kelly File to discuss the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and the US. Frieden argued that a US travel ban on the Ebola inflicted countries would cause the disease to spread.

Dr. Tom Frieden: “Above all do no harm. If we do things that make it harder to stop the epidemic there it’s going to spread to other parts of the continent…

Megyn Kelly: How’s it going to make it harder to stop?

Dr. Tom Frieden: Because you can’t get people in and out.

Megyn Kelly: Why can’t we have charter flights?

Dr. Tom Frieden: You know, charter flights don’t do the same thing commercial airlines do.

Megyn Kelly: What do you mean, they fly in and fly out?…

Dr. Tom Frieden: If we isolate these countries, what’s not going to happen is the disease staying there. It will spread more, all over Africa and we’ll be at higher risk.

That doesn’t make sense.

Frieden began his career at the CDC by working on controlling tuberculosis, and then spent years stamping out the disease in India, as a CDC assignee to the World Health Organization.

http://www.fic.nih.gov/News/GlobalHealthMatters/july-august-2014/Pages/cdc-global-health-tom-frieden.aspx

Why is the CDC engaged in global health?
Sometimes, people wonder, “Why should we be involved in global health since we have so many challenges here at home?” But we can’t keep Americans safe just looking at our own country. We need to make sure that we’re not only protecting ourselves from diseases that can spread from elsewhere, but also learning lessons that can be learned elsewhere, sometimes more efficiently and effectively.

We’re also promoting stability around the world. We’re increasing economic productivity around the world and lifting all boats by having healthier communities. We’re promoting the reputation of America. I’ll never forget the woman I met in Nigeria who was holding her twin babies in her hands and she said to me, “I’m HIV-positive, but my babies are HIV-negative because of PEPFAR [the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief]. And thank the American people for me.”

And ultimately, our work in global health is so important to do because it’s the right thing to do, because we’re a great country and because for a very small investment, we can make a massive change in the lives of literally billions of people.

Pastor Knew He Had AIDS When He Had Affairs, Church Says
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/3215265/posts

But we can expect ebola survivors from Africa to be more honorable?

Since male ebola survivors are carriers for up to 80 days ...

Male Ebola survivors told: Use a condom [Reuters]
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3212396/posts

Do male ebola survivors get VISAs? Are they even instructed to use condoms at US airports? With the power to spread ‘random’ ebola outbreaks via unprotected affairs, would you trust this policy with our nation’s daughters or should they have 80 day quarantines before given their ‘VISAs’? [aka illegal immigration passes]

At least in the CDC and Washington, DC.

Spreading is Isolation.

And spreading it in the U.S. helps Africa.

“You know, charter flights don’t do the same thing commercial airlines do.”

Re-read that statement, with the mindset that Frieden et al actually want people in the US to get infected.

Then it makes perfect sense.

If this asshole still has his job by sunset we will know everything we need to know about this administration. We should have stormed DC and strung up Lois Lerner. If they don’t get off their ass and do their damn job we should do likewise for every damn one of them tomorrow.

The head of the US infectious disease agency has said he is “confident” the US will not suffer a large outbreak of the deadly virus Ebola, currently devastating countries in West Africa.

Dr Tom Frieden told a Congressional panel the US could expect isolated cases but well-prepared hospitals could prevent a widespread epidemic.

Was this interview on last night? This CDC clown is still spouting the nonsense that free travel to the US helps things?

Obola doesn’t want to shut off travel from Africa because he thinks his urban mob will scream racism and not vote in Nov!

The bastard cares about nothing but elections and fundraising!

What he really want to say, but can't, is:
"The more Ebola cases we have in the US, the sooner those racist Whites will be forced to come up with a cure."

What's bad for USA is good for the world. That's the leftist core.

This is lame on its face.

This is presented for the benefit of Obama's apologists - those who will accept ANY excuse to accept any action from this administration; to ease that ache in the back of their confused brain that they might be wrong about Obama. Sort of like how a battered wife might accept flowers the day after a particularily bad beating that her husband is really a good man.

I consider this proof that this administration intends to deliberately introduce an ebola pandemic to America.

There is no such place as "Negeria".

You go ahead and "learn" things from a third-world craphole that hasn't mastered running water.

I'll pass.
