Just Breaking on News Wires now.
“Roberts, a Republican, said a complete and immediate travel ban must be initiated. All individuals wanting to enter the U.S. who have traveled to Ebola-affected areas within the past 30 days must quarantine outside the U.S., he said.”
There are lots of them if you just look. The conservative media is screaming for a ban too.
The game changer will be if a case shows up in New York. Otherwise it is only in someplace like Texas or Illinois, which doesn’t exist to the
and when flu season sets in for good and people start hacking and sneezing - if any of them are ebola infected- imagine the free ride ebola virus gets with those aerosolized body fluids

Sure, that’s just what I said. (eyeroll)
Rock Island, Illinois. Someone who worked at a local college flew a family member back from Liberia. The county health department, in a rare fit of compantantcy, locked up the family. Of course we are all racist for doing so, and the local Social Justice Warriors are challenging it.
“That is undoubtedly going to happen. We are bringing in 150 people from Ebola Land every week and that is going to increase. Right now they have a 1 in 1000 chance of having Ebola and that is increasing. “
Thar number, 150, is PER DAY. Over 1,000 every week! And likely to grow as the word of free ebola treatment in the US spreads like a plague in Africa.
I pray for these people.
And I loathe the family of whores Jesse Jackson is pimping out to call these hospital workers racists for treating their departed Uncle Duncan.
If the original donor is O Neg, he can give it to anyone.

No worries, the freeper experts here have assured us it can not be transmitted via airborne transmission. /s
Yes the flights need to be stopped.
Yes...and it also didn't take him much time to stop air travel to/from Israel.
Excellent point.
Bttt
Terrorists are not going to be able to achieve respiratory transmission. What they can do is spray it in small droplets which is obviously bad enough. In that study the animal's cages were 20 cm apart. Apparently in the book Hot Zone which I haven't read, it spread room to room, but that's not what the study says: http://www.nature.com/srep/2012/121115/srep00811/full/srep00811.html?message-global=remove&goback=.gde_4429892_member_187356406
“A strong immune system will help one recover than one that is compromised.”
Precisely why I have been questioning Nebraska Med Center for taking in ebola patients when their biggest patient base are people who are undergoing solid organ transplants as well as cancer care. These people have compromised immune systems! I could just scream! This is the place I run to if my daughter has any post transplant problems... I feel like that’s not an option anymore.
How’s that Hope’n’Change working out?
Obama sure has delivered on the latter, but now there seems to be a hope deficit.
Dr. Tom Friesen is certainly plumbing the depths of tone-deaf bureaucratic incompetence that haven’t been seen since Michael Brown’s FEMA tenure.
The thing is...you would have expected some of those ER patient and treatment teams to show symptoms long before now. I think we are still inside the 21 days but most people show signs and symptoms in less than 10 days.
It sounds to me, until we know more, that he most likely infected these people within the few days before his death or immediately post mortem. Which might mean that you just can’t be in the room with a crashing ebola patient unless you are in full spacesuit or in a Level 4 facility.
Paging Dr. Brantly, we need another pint of your blood for a new Ebola victim...
