I grew up on Glen Campbell's music, what a master singer, songwriter and guitarist.

Note:

Song and video at link.

Have lots of Kleenex handy.

A delight from Delight, AR, and I checked; it’s in Pike County in the southwestern portion of the state.

One of Glenn’s early records (Wichita Lineman) was in the very short stack of albums my parents had in our house. Therefore, I knew his album very well. I kind of missed it a few years ago, and bought the CD version. The songs are so great, not like the bullcrap that is often sold as music in the last few decades. I also bought his “20 greatest hits” CD.

May God bless this very talented man during his final time on this earth. I know the sadness as my Dad had Alzheimer’s too. One of the cruelest diseases known to mankind.

Yeah, I grew up on his music too. His voice is still good.

That is probably one of the saddest songs I have ever heard.

I really think he was trying to make his wife and loved ones o.k. with what was happening.

Most caretakers are concerned out of their minds about their loved ones.
