FOX 2 has learned the suspect, shot and killed last week by police, showed off his stolen gun to anyone who would look. We obtained pictures of Vonderrit Myers Jr. showing off his handguns on social media. Fox Files investigator Chris Hayes reveals the evidence while exploring why the officer shot at Myers 17 times.

Dunno about you guys but I won’t miss junior a bit.
But he was such a good boy, he didn’t mean no one no harm/sarc
Yet, his mama swears he never had a gun and wants to msm to disregard the ankle bracelet.
Ha, ha. In the early 1990s, I was in the Marine Corps and one of my Master Sergeants applied for a post retirement job as a JROTC instructor in Miami, FL. In the interview, they asked him what he would do if a student brought a gun to school. He replied, "Hell, I don't know. Probably teach him how to clean it." He got the job.
My eyes aren't what they used to be, that looks more like a capital T. Probably stands for thug, or more likely turd.
. . . and I believe that just may be a bottle of Purple Drank/Sizzurp ingredient in photo #2. At least it looks like it.
His Momma said he did’t “Own” a gun. She’s not a liar if they were stolen.
Yeah, but just because he had them at the time the picture was taken doesn’t mean he had one when the confrontation with the officer occurred. Even if it’s the same model. Nobody can say whether the serial number of that common gun matched the one in the picture.
And just because he might have had that gun when the confrontation occurred doesn’t mean he really pointed the gun at the officer.
And just because he might have had that gun when the confrontation occurred and pointed the gun at the officer doesn’t mean the gun was loaded.
And just because he might have had that gun when the confrontation occurred and pointed the gun at the officer and even if the gun was loaded doesn’t mean he actually shot the gun.
And just because he might have had that gun and pointed the gun at the officer and even if the gun was loaded doesn’t mean he actually aimed at the officer.
And even if all that is true doesn’t mean he was a good enough shot for the officer to be concerned for his life.
And even if he had the gun, loaded, pointed it at the officer, and fired, multiple times doesn’t mean you’re not a racist.
Just chill’n with the homies, flashing hardware while enjoying some purple drank.
"Funny, as thuggish as that crew looks, not a single one of them is handling a pistol with their finger *inside* the trigger guard."
I was thinking the very same thing while viewing the photos!
When hanging with peeps, they are (miraculously) careful with trigger discipline.
The guy in the red with his face covered has a cheap .22 RG piece of trash. Back in the olden days this is the type of gun the cops used to drop on a shot unarmed suspect.
If that person had been shot by a cop the family might claim “De cops planted it on him!”
Orcs.
And don’t forget. Once the gun jammed, he was unarmed. Helpless.
Absolutely. Not to mention, the officer should have known he was really making progress turning his life around.
yep. That is exactly what they will say.
Poor innocent thug shot down before his rap career could take off.
Glad the officers lawyer is getting out in front of the story with details, before the racebaiters establish their own narrative.
Before it’s over with, the perp will have been shot while standing with his hands in the air, holding the sammich.
This narrative was put out there immediately after the shooting.
“Myers’ family claims the teen was unarmed and carrying a sandwich when he was killed.”

Yes, but they need to add the “hands in the air” to complete the meme of summary execution for being black.
