Democrats have rushed out of the gate with an attack ad against Republicans claiming if only we had spent more money, we would be able to solve the Ebola situation.
It’s a defensive ad that reeks of desperation. At a time when more and more Americans, including millennials, are concluding government just doesn’t work, it probably won’t be effective. And Republicans can respond in kind.
For example, instead of studying Ebola, the National Institutes of Health were studying the propensity of lesbians to be fat.
Then there was the money for a study on wives who calm down quickly.
And the Centers for Disease Control spent its budget on gun violence studies on order of the President as part of his agenda to curtail the second amendment.
The CDC also spent its money to survey what bus riders thought of HIV videos.
Hey, and let’s not forget all the money the CDC spent to convince people to stop smoking and now we need tobacco to manufacture the drug to fight Ebola. Classic.
Of course democrats blame the GOP for ebola. They blame nurses, they blame us common pukes for “fear”, and they blame anything that moves that ain’t them.
We really need to get democrats out of power. They’re going to get us all killed.
I am fat but hetero! Our government is so F****D up.
And don’t forget the hundreds of billions wasted on tracking the melting ice in the Arctic, while the ice in the Antarctic is expanding .but it doesn’t fit the global warming religion’s doctrinal stance. The money is going into phony ‘science.”

Bring Out Your Dead
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
This reminds me of Houston. They cannot fill the potholes. They can’t get decent buses and certified drivers for the school kids. No seatbelts, and several busloads of students injured in wrecks, already in September, taken to emergency Rooms in Houston. Seatbelts, and certified trained licensed drivers would help prevent that. Of course that begs the question, why are lesbians fat?
“...it probably wont be effective. And Republicans can respond in kind.”
But they won’t! Beginning to wonder if the DNC has dirt on EVERY key Republican who then orders the underlings to back off from voicing ANY accusations that might hurt the feelings (or election chances) of any liberals. Never have seen such a bunch of limp-wristed wussies.
I suspect causation is the other way around...
they are lesbians because they are fat
“Of course that begs the question, why are lesbians fat?”
Simple: fat is a good match with mean and ugly.
Grant money, please...
and somebody spent a half-million on why fat girls don’t get dates
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/10/01/FLASHBACK-Obama-administration-dumps-quarantine-rules
THIS should be plastered all over net/media.
Oh no!
Not another Hillary article...
I still want the government to spend money testing my theory as to why lesbians are fat: I think it’s because they eat too much. Where do I apply for the research grant?
Like the ISIS problem — the administration failed to respond quickly enough to Ebola.
The list of all the Stupid PORK projects could not be posted as it would take up the entire internet.
Republicans are just as guilty of approving Stupid Pork. It’s about half and half with Democrats possibly funding slightly more STUPID PORK projects.
Many Stupid Pork projects were unopposed by Republicans ... so even if they did not directly vote for Democrat Stupid Pork they did not oppose it because they wanted the same consideration for their own Stupid Pork.
Therefore, Republicans can’t get into a tit-for-tat with Democrats on funding STUPID PORK.
However, we the people should remind everyone of how much money has been wasted on STUPID PORK. We should resolve ourselves to bring it up in every conversation with everyone we meet. Pick 5-10 STUPID PORK projects (out of several bazillion this should not be hard) and keep bringing those up every time someone mentions that we don’t have money to fight Ebola, or fund schools, or whatever.
As municipalities run out of money, those expenditures are going to be scrutinized very closely. Should be interesting when they start cutting programs; companies and workers have no interest operating in places where the roads are similar to those in Mogadishu...
