I'm trying to decide if I fly to Brussels and then on to Liberia, West Africa or if I should find another fight schedule due to the guy that came to the U.S. with Ebola through Brussels. What I am wondering is if Brussels is now considered safe at this point.
This article seems to say it is okay.
"It is our humanitarian duty to operate there"
Several major airlines including British Airways and Emirates have suspended service to Ebola-stricken regions of West Africa in response to a rapidly worsening Ebola outbreak, and Americans seem to agree with the service halts: 58% of people polled in a recent survey from NBC News want to ban all incoming flights from West African countries with Ebola.
But two airlinesBrussels and Royal Air Maroc, Moroccos largest airlinehave continued serving Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea.

Jumping off a bridge or taking a handful of pills would be much easier, I should think.
The answer is NO
If a person makes a voluntary decision to go to the endemic areas of West Africa for whatever reason, that person should not expect a monumental, expensive and dangerous effort to return them to the West if they become ill. A person insists on swimming in a river full of hungry crocodiles, ought not complain that there are no lifeguards.
I am shocked the figure is so low. We're talking about backward, Third World countries which have nothing to offer the US.
Cancel your plans. No amount of money is worth flying there and not being able to get out!
If no symptomatic people were on board, then of course it is perfectly safe. If someone became symptomatic on a plane, and started vomiting or having diarrhea, then the plane probably needs some heavy duty disinfecting.
Don’t go.
It does not sound like there will be any trouble getting out from what Obama has said and these airlines saying they will keep up flights.
Like the people who refuse to heed warnings to leave, during Cat 4+ hurricanes, then risk the lives of OTHERS who they expect to come rescue their sorry azz, when they’re atop their roof, or hanging on to a tree. They also expect US to foot the bill for their stupidity.
If someone wants to go there and risk infection, that's their business. If they want to come back and risk infecting us, that's our business.
Fly to Monrovia and frenchkiss anyone with the sniffles you Thyme junior-birdman journo.

Somehow I think you are putting us all on.....your not really going, right?
Going to LIBERIA, but worried about a connection in Brussles?
Talk about not being able to evaluate relative risk....
Well Justin old boy, you are not very smart are ya?!! Good God...
‘Guns did not write the article.
