A man with Ebola-like symptoms is being taken by ambulance to a Boston hospital.

Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, 11 Grossman Drive, was reportedly being evacuated while doctors assessed a possible case of Ebola, according to fire and police radio transmissions from the scene.

A man who recently traveled to West Africa was being isolated outside the center inside an ambulance, according to fire department officials. He is now being escorted by police to a Boston hospital. The driver of the ambulance is wearing a mask and haz mat suit.

The Braintree police and fire departments, Department of Public Health and a haz mat team are responding to the Braintree office.

He is being isolated OUTSIDE of the hospital in an ambulance, they aren't even letting him inside the hospital.

Coming SOON to a town near YOU, folks.

HAIL OBAMA!

good for them..

no mollycoddling people who lie their way into the US bringing Ebola..

why didn’t he just call the hospital and admit he had Ebola instead of just calling an ambulance ???

there needs to be one hospital the treat these people to stop spreading the disease around..

plus hospitals cant treat other people is they are sealed off with one Ebola Man...

one patient doesn’t need 50 staff members..

Bring Out Your Dead

Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.

At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.

*sigh* Such is life, and death...

Bump! This is only going to get worse. A travel ban six weeks ago might have saved lives.

The facility offers urgent care from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.

Oh, well, then that would be my first choice to take an Ebola patient. The Level 4 facility at Bethesda would be way down the list.

Start building a free standing tent treatment center now. Meanwhile, keep that person in that ambulance.

Outside the urgent care office, not the hospital.

There’s your ticking time bomb, likely asymptomatic when he came into the country. He’d still sail through the new and improved screening if he presented himself the same way as he did back then.

Breach of protocol!! They should have let him sit in the ER waiting room for 4 hours, throwing up all over the place.

We must respect the Dallas model. /sarc

After the Dallas experience, they don’t want him INSIDE the Hospital, it seems.

If they keep him outside, any potential civil liability is limited, and they can make this someone else’s problem.
