The head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said there was "clearly" a breach in protocol that led to a Texas health care worker contracting Ebola after treating a Liberian man who later died from the virus, although authorities do not yet know what that breach was.
"We're deeply concerned about this new development," Dr. Thomas Frieden said in an interview on CBS' "Face the Nation" Sunday. "I think the fact that we don't know of a breach in protocol is concerning because clearly there was a breach in protocol. We have the ability to prevent the spread of Ebola by caring safely for patients."
"The fact is that the individual who became ill was, as per protocol, self monitoring. Immediately when they developed symptoms they isolated themselves, they were promptly isolated at the hospital so that any further spread from that individual was stopped," Frieden added.

Make that hospitals and clinics too.
Medical version of “The dog ate my homework”?
Check.
Is this from the Onion?
Mistakes happen - they just need to happen outside this country.
As my mom used to say, "can'" means "won't".
They know damn well what to do. They're leading the charge to keep us from doing it. Starting with banning flights from the countries of origin.
The only disease they are worried about spreading is the one where people start getting the fool notion that shutting down entry into this country will solve a particular problem.
Can't have that. There's an election coming up.
What sort of fabricated science runs the CDC?
There “was a breach”, but “we dont know what”,
without considering other hypotheses is beyond stupid
but typical of what goes for Obola’s “government”.
There has to be a massive outbreak before
they know what’s in it.
.
The really scary part is that if ebola is harder to contain than predicted and “goes viral” (where did that expression originate?), under the “protocols”, healthcare workers will be the first to wiped out.
So....
Ebola can only be transmitted by contact and that is proved by lack of cases with non contact transmission.
When Ebloa is transmitted without any known contact, we must ignore that and presume there was contact. Thus, Ebola cannot be shown to be transmitted without contact.
Are the global warmist scientists moonlighting in biology?
Workplace violation.
Someone brought up Ebola at my job to co-workers and I heard someone whine “Oh that’s too depressing to talk about” and a snide remark of “Oohh Eboli is going to kill us.”
And these are grown adults...
So what happened to “we know how to deal with this” and the “tried and true” methods of containment?
Shades of the flick, “Jurassic Park.” When TSHTF everything starts to crumble.
OK then! If Dr. Frieden is so confident let him do his next presser in the isolation room of the newly discovered ebola patient.
and Pansexuals too.

Closing borders may drive #Ebola patients underground, make addressing outbreak harder. Not the answer http://fxn.ws/1nfBk5n @fxnopinion

The impulse to isolate countries may make #Ebola epidemic worse. Must use tried & true public health means to stop it.

Can the CDC be sued for giving false assurances? Let’s make this deadly disease worse by making sure everyone who lives faces a lawsuit.
“They” might want you to add voting booths to your list.
