Oh, you mean JimRob, Free Republic's founder? He fought Romney every step of the way through the primary and ended up voting for him. I did the same thing.

I did the same thing.

FACT: The Republican Party will continue to actively fight the base until it realizes it cannot win without them.

As long as we continue to knuckle under and vote RINO at the last minute, they will continue to deliver RINO nominees.

If a Ted Cruz can't be elected, then really, the nation is doomed.

Your only strategy is piss and moan and let Democrats continue to hold power. You're better off not even participating in the process.

I am not pissing and moaning. I am quietly drawing a red line and will not support the GOPs when they cross it. And I agree with you. If the RINOcrats continue to force "moderate" candidates and policies on us, then I am better off not participating in the process.

But you -- YOU are determined to keep the "moderates" in power. Some people never learn. STupid is as stupid does.

You're wrong. There were multiple conservative candidates running for the nomination in 2012 but puritans seeking the perfect candidate destroyed each and every one of them. My God, even Michelle Bachman was made out to be a satanic RINO.

Until conservatives realize there is no perfect candidate, they will eat their own and pave the way for another moderate to win the nomination.

And, no 51 Ted Cruzs can't be elected to the Senate. There are too many liberal states for that to happen. That doesn't mean you give up and let the nation go to hell by letting Democrats takeover. We tried back back in 2006 and 2008 and the consequences have been horrific.

And, that is gave us Obamacare. That is what is resulting the courts being filled with liberal judges. That is what is resulting the rise of radical Islam and growing terrorist threat to this nation.

But, I guess it gives you a self-righteous feeling to know you're standing on principle.

No, I'm determined to get Democrats out of power. Why? I don't want radical liberal judges on the court and thwarting anything conservatives pass at the state level. I don't want another disaster like Obamacare to pass because "principled" people wanted to teach the RINOs a lesson.

We tried your strategy -- letting Democrats take charge -- back in 2006 and 2008. And, things got worse, a lot worse.
