While I think that’s a rather clever take on it (no offense intended), I wouldn’t be surprised if it does lead to confusion and even some depression on some level for these kids.

We generally confront issues in life at the appropriate time. Adding in certain concerns at inappropriate times can confuse kids and cause them undo angst.

That’s my layman’s opinion.

I agree. My comment was meant to be both satirical and serious, and I believe we are on the same page. To wit, I have tried to imagine being a 5 year-old in today’s school system, trying to honestly recall what I felt and thought when I was that age, and am quite sure that I would have lost my fragile little mind back then if I was being indoctrinated with the same perversions being pushed upon children today as “normal” or “acceptable”.
