I know some people claim that Jews have so much European blood in them, that they don't represent the ancient Israelites. But have you seen the Lebanese Christians? Essentially these are native Levantines. (Many Palestinians came from throughout the Middle East in various Islamic invasions, including 1948.) Lebanese Christians Danny Thomas, Jamie Farr, Dick Dale, Kasey Kasem, Christa McAuliffe, Tiffany [Darwish], Tony Shaloub, Kathy Najimy, Sammy Hagar, and so on. The Lebanese are so close to the ancient Jews that the Greek (which is Lebanese, not Greek; Greek means they aren't Latin) Melkite Church uses Aramaic in its worship.

And yes, red hair is common among Palestinian semites; in fact, it used to be a Jewish stereotype.

Because HISTORY is HISTORY - no matter how much you want to twist it for your own reasons.

Jesus AND Mary were of the line of David - Not only white - but likely 'whiter' than many Jewish people.

There are many historical references to this - some making the remark that, due to 'exposure' He appeared darker (i.e. tan)

Why do so many people continue with the 'swarthy, dark complected, dark, curly hair" mantra for all Jews. (Weren't these darker Jews from the tribe of Judah?)

They weren't all the same back then any more than they are today. There are MANY blue-eyed, blond, light skinned Jewish people.
