No, "Sulu" are an ethnic group of South Africa who fought the British in 1878-1879, led by Shaka Sulu.

Michael Caine starred in Sulu, an excellent 1946 film about a small group of British soldiers holding off thousands of Sulu warriors at the battle at Rorke's Drift.
