Those are his base. They will never desert him. Obama can say he’s still more popular than Bush - if only for the bragging rights.

I think that 39% is his floor, based on the number of people on food stamps and other entitlements. Low skilled, low job-motivated people have little choice but to cast their lot with those who promise free money. Populist tyrants know this all too well as they seek to maintain support.

A large portion of the population, most of which we probably wouldn't associate with, base their likes and beliefs, not on logic or facts, but on a basis that would make black magic look sane, and of course there are also those that got their free 0bamaphone, 0bama made their house payments, etc., etc..

Supposedly ‘conservative’ People on Free Republic swear they will vote for hard leftist Fomney again if he runs. Is it so hard to believe ‘open’ leftists support leftism?

I mean hell, half the Right does. And are proud of it.
