Poll: Garcia Up 4 Points Over Incumbent Democrat (NH)

While New Hampshire’s Second Congressional District went for Obama twice, State Rep. Marilinda Garcia is up 4 points–41/37 (with leaners)–in a new Granite State poll from the University of New Hampshire. Still, 19 percent are undecided so there’s room for both sides to maneuver and grow as the election heads into the final stretch.

Needless to say, the Kuster camp fired off this fundraising email upon hearing the news:

Last night we got the results of the latest poll in our race. It shows that our opponent’s puppet masters’ - the Koch brothers - attack ads are working. Their relentless attacks on TV have erased our lead and made our race a pure toss up and a statistical dead heat. These next 27 days will determine what will happen on Election Day - the only day that matters – if we're up or we're down.

Meanwhile, former Rep. Charlie Bass has endorsed Garcia.

“New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District deserves an independent Representative who upholds our Granite State traditions of meeting with citizens and being accessible to the public. Marilinda Garcia will be that Representative, and I am proud to endorse her campaign for Congress,” said Bass. “Marilinda is an honest, responsible, and principled leader, and her commitment to common sense fiscal discipline would best serve the people of New Hampshire.”

“As an esteemed legislator who served the 2nd district admirably for nearly two decades, former Congressman Bass understands what is needed to deal with the important issues facing our district,” said Garcia in a statement. “I am honored that he has placed his faith in my candidacy and has endorsed my campaign for Congress.”

I’m really more concerned with the Senate.

How is Scott Brown doing vs. Jeanne Shaheen?

This isn’t a good sign for Shaheen

Last I saw, Brown is either tied or ahead. There’s been lots of good polling around here in New England in the last day. I heard that an unknown is up five over Congressman Keating here in MA, and Charlie Baker is also up. Who knows if these are accurate but the trends are good.

NH only has two reps so if she’s actually up, that looks good for Brown.

But we’ll see.

Good. We need more like her to reach millennials.

Scott Brown gets his revenge on the fake Indian who easily dispatched him two years ago in Massachusetts.

He’s a known name in the New England market and New Hampshire voters don’t appear to be put off by his being a carpet-bagger.

I don’t know about NH details.

But I got something interesting in my mail today, here in MA. A Dem named Keating is running for a Rep spot re-election. The front page of his mailer brags about how he’s a non-partisan Dem, working with the GOP when necessary on issues like security an homeland defense. “Putting the country first.”

If he’s running this in MA, you’ve got to know that the Dems are worried.

They’re about even.

Like Shaheen, Brown is pro-gay agenda, pro-abortion, and swishy on gun-rights.

Unlike Shaheen, he is anti-0bolacare and anti-amnesty. If all we get out of him is enough of a majority in the Senate to scotch 0bolacare and thwart 0bola amnesty, I’ll be satisfied.

A lot of Democrats are facing a problem in that Obama is under water in many Blue states as well.

He’s even more detested than Bush. And the more he appears on TV, the more people just hate his guts.

Its an irony that he and Bush should share the misery of being failures. Welcome to the club.

You’re in MA too? I heard about the Keating race on Howie Carr’s show yesterday. He said that his opponent is up by five. If that’s true, it’ll be an earthquake.

This poll is actually surprising. ALL the previous polls had Kuster up 4-10 points on Garcia. I think the more people see of Garcia the more they like her. I certainly like her.

Freepers,

Please post PICS of GARCIA.

This is the other reason why the liberal old hags HATE her. She is a smoke show.

Poor Kuster. When you have Obama baggage, its hard to move the needle.

He’s being beaten with it in a district Obama carried twice.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2014/house/nh/new_hampshire_2nd_district_garcia_vs_kuster-4289.html

New England College has Kuster up 12. This WMUR/UNH poll has Garcia up 4.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2014/senate/nh/new_hampshire_senate_brown_vs_shaheen-3894.html

The same WMUR/UNH poll has Shaheen up 6 over Brown.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2014/house/nh/new_hampshire_1st_district_guinta_vs_sheaporter-4142.html

In District 1. WMUR/UNH has Shea-Porter up 3. However, New England College has Guinta up 10.

So, to summarize. It is a coin flip in the congressional races. The Governor’s race is going to the incumbent dem and the the Senate race is leaning Shaheen.

That is if people still have warm and fuzzy feelings left about President Obola by November.

The Ebola scare is shaping up to be his Katrina.

I really would love to see her win.

Then, we get to watch the left go into a full personal attack to destroy her like they did to Palin, Bachmann, Nikki Haley and every other female conservative.

You know the Left is having a bad hair day when Obama can’t show up in Blue States without being tarred and feathered.

That makes my day.
