A couple decades ago I worked in Yemen.
We tried all kinds of flight combinations to get to and from Houston. Even spent the night in Djibouti twice, but moved on to either Abu Dhabi or better yet, Dubia, then to someplace in Europe before we could reach Texas. Often was a 36 hour trip, then in-country travel to the job site.
