death is 6-10 days after symptoms (virus has spread into the bloodstream). You can incubate for 20 days or even more before getting symptoms.

Memo to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas (kind of rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it?) “community”: It was partly due to your own incomptence that the guy died, so spare us the boo-hooing and back-patting and learn how to do your goddamn jobs!

think that was his daughter or step-daughter who was cleared by CDC to return to work [mindboggling since not remotely 21 days and she was the one who called to get him the ambulance etc.] but she supposedly is self-quarantining herself and her family. I honestly don’t believe they KNOW all of the manners of transmission at this point, so their saying it’s hard to get just is criminal IMO.

Interesting how this government lectures US citizens on all of the things we can or can’t have, or do but look the other way when foreigners come into our country with deadly diseases.

We may never know if they do pop up. I am highly skeptical given the exposure of the family that no one is ill....

Where are the contacts? Did I read yesterday the girlfriend was already let out of quatantine? The GF's daughter put herself in quarantine, the CDC and local health authorities were asleep. She has kept herself quarantined for the most part and should be showing symptoms in the next few days or already if she got infected.

It was not zmapp It was an experimental drug developed to treat HIV I believe.

From just reading and observation, it appears to me that the likelihood of transmission starts out practically nil until symptoms appear, then begins to build as viral load in the host increases, with a very high likelihood occurring in the hours immediately prior to death, followed by the very highest likelihood of infection being from the body and anything touched by it following death for at least several hours, possibly more.

We may never know if they do pop up They can't be disappeared. If they were infected we will find out.

Well, the report was in error then, but it was reported by at least one source as ZMapp.

Id have to track it down but I distinctly recall my cynical reaction when the supposedly nonexistent ZMapp turned up to treat Mr. Duncan, so Im fairly certain it was announced. The report may have been in error, but it was reported.
It was never reported. From Day 1, they made it clear there was none for him.

Yep, it’s all about how much virus is in your blood. From the blood it goes everywhere including salivary gland and sweat pores.
