[But I do empathize with patriotic outrage over the dirty politics by near-RINO republican leaders.]

Someone posted that not voting for McConnell allows him to hold his head high and have a clean conscience if we fail to take back the senate.

So I looked to both the history and the doctrine of the Apostle Paul who instructed soldiers to serve their [pagan Roman] commanders well. [Seemed to offend you somehow.]

The logic of referring to Paul is not merely doctrinal but also historic - Christians have had to put up with deeply warped individuals throughout history. This might confuse someone who wants to lose the Senate and teach republicans a lesson, but I think it’s safe to say that Saint Paul would not agree because Jesus Christ isn’t running in this race, and demon-rats are vulgar, anti-Christian, baby-killing creeps.

As for borders, McConnell might want to open the borders [apparently], but it’s not as vital to him as it is to the leftists. We’ve managed to persuade republicans to block a suicidal immigration policy ever since the Bush administration. Will they ignore us this time? Maybe, maybe not. But if democrats win this time around it is a certainty.

I’m not in agreement with your questionable theology.

Lets start with Psalm 1:

Psalm 1
1 Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.
4 Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff
that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked leads to destruction.

The first century Christians did not get to chose their government, but we can chose who we vote for. The letter R is not enough of a reason to pull the lever. I want to vote FOR someone, not AGAINST a worse opponent. I don’t demand 100% agreement, but McConnell’s threat to crush the tea party is not a 1% difference of opinion... it was a show stopper.
