We don’t calculate the same way they do so you end up with phony statistics.
Our club is 90+ years old and you wouldn’t believe how densely packed between farm houses. I can see a farmhouse 100 yds from the firing line. Every year we ta sent the berms and add more baffles.
My home range had to install overhead baffles, impact berms and sidewalls in order to re-open, having been closed when a county bike trail was introduced next to our property. The gun haters figured they had priced us out of existence but a core group of sportsmen hung in there, raised the funds, got the new “safety” elements installed and the range re-opened.
That was all before I joined but the older members tell me that it was worth every dollar they spent just to be able to piss off the people who shut them down.
Sure it would have been better not to have had to do any of it, but it’s not like we’re living in a free country.
bump!
"The Americans living in Washington state need to make their voices heard at the bullet box."
traditional Americans are out numbered in Washington. But, polls are showing some movement. However, the establishment republicans are working hard to keep honest conservatives from upsetting the status quo.
The problem with Washington State is demographics. Three counties (King, Pierce, Snohomish) run the rest of the State. They are the three Puget Sound counties, and they have large populations that dwarf the influence of the rest of the State. I read some years ago that you could win a state-wide office if you won those three counties. You didn't need any other.
