Wrong, make them spend to defend!!!
Well .. With that one in the bag for Peters, it only makes sense.
In this race, you have the establishement Republican down by a whopping 10%, so the GOPe is investing cash for the win:
Kansas Senate - Roberts vs. Orman NBC News/Marist* Orman 48, Roberts 38 Orman +10
In this race, you have the conservative challenger down by only 5%, so the GOPe is hanging HER out to dry:
Michigan Senate - Land vs. Peters CBS News/NYT/YouGov Peters 46, Land 41 Peters +5

Is it sexism? Is it incumbency protection? Or does the GOPe just hate conservatives?
Remember when the Establishment was whining that “outside groups” weren’t helping Joni Ernst in Iowa?? Well it is they who are now pulling out of Michigan.
Meanwhile, the “outside groups” have been sending money in to keep the democrats on defense.

No doubt the Establishment needs the extra money to shore up their “preferred” candidates in NC, KY and KS.
Another thread on the same issue.
Who would give those ‘tards any $$$$?
Sucks, politically, to live here in Michigan. Sucks even more to have been ‘represented’ by John Dingell and John Conyers.
Sigh...
They might as well put an “L” on their foreheads.
They wouldn’t be in such bad shape if they embraced the base, and delivered a coherent conservative message.
Conservatives have to get off the pissing couch and help conservatives. Send $$ directly to our candidates. We can’t groan against the GOPe when they withdraw support. We have to be relevant. We need conservatives in the Senate.
Don’t know why the GOP-E needs to pull any ads at all. Flush with impending victory after getting all its “electable” candidates nominated, it’s just a matter of time before Karl Rove is in full on party mode.

Terri Lynn Land’s campaign strategists need to be horsewhipped if she loses this race. She’s won statewide twice.
