Well said and true for South Dakota.
I don’t really like Mike Rounds but I totally do not want the tommy daschle clone called Rick Weiland.
I swear that the dems have something on Larry pressler and are getting him to run so weiland can win.
I also do not trust the east river counties to give us an accurate vote count

Maybe the GOPe should start backing conservative candidates instead of these hot messes they put on the ballot?

Not to worry. There are many right here on Free Republic working hard to ensure a Democrat led Senate in November. Its the only way that conservatives can show that they mean business. Going out of business that is.
As a card-carrying member of the GOP-E, I see you are employing the same tactics they use, outright hyperbole and distortion of the truth.

blaming the voters is always the gutless, coward move by a party that has nothing to run on

Look...folks......this upcoming election is not about politics at all. It is simply about saving our nation!!! You would think the GOPe would know this, if they were on the side of the People and the Republic, sadly they are not, in my opinion.
Tell me one thing the Republican party is for in this campaign season. David Horowitz explains why we lose.

They arent standing on principle, they are just standing around doing nothing. Sometimes nothing is just what needs done.

When you stand for most of what your opposition party wants how do you run against that? Their are beyond stupid and even worse handing out millions of dollars to consultants who could care less if their candidate wins or loses as long as their paycheck doesn’t bounce.

Listen...no one dislikes the GOPe more then I do!!! But....the GOPe matters zilch this election cycle!!! Obama is “The enemy of the United Sates of America”...on every count!!!” He must be reduced to a fully useless “LAME DUCK” POTUS on 11/04/2014!!! Nothing else has a greater priority IMHO!!!
I really do not care what other Freepers or Trolls think or jump on me!!! I am voting to save my country for my children, my grandchildren and all American future children yet to come!!! End of story....there is no other sane path to take, then to totally broom (defeat) the entire Democrat Party, politically!!! Do it...and save your country!!! Politics can return later!!!

It isn’t the party nor the politicians. It’s the voters! You have to ask yourself why the Republican party is the way it is, and the answer is that most Americans want big government in spite of what they say.
Go to any state and ask people if they are willing to give up their place at the trough. I don’t care how conservative they say they are, they want their “free” stuff. This is not going to stop until the US is bankrupt.
Also, most Americans are sick of perpetual conflicts that only make things worse and result in the deaths and wounding of our people. If the Republicans continue to support such misadventures, the public will turn on them. Dumb voters thought Obama would end the wars, even though liberals love war. It gives them the opportunity to spend money and curtail our rights. Democrats don’t give a rat’s butt about our troops.

It’s actually a pretty simple proposition. Which would you prefer, a Democrat controlled Senate or a Republican controlled Senate? I prefer a Republican controlled one and urge others to help make that happen. Decide which you would rather have and act accordingly.

How is it a win if the RINOs get a majority while working so hard to defeat constitutional conservatives?

Actually, it's much simpler than that.
Do you want someone representing you that agrees with and supports your conservative values, or are your values and principles mere suggestions that don't mean anything.
So, if neither the Democrat or Republican supports your values, i.e. Romney with his support of Abortion and the Gay Agenda, or someone like Thad Cochran who has what amounts to a 50% conservative Voting record, you either write in a candidate like McDaniel or vote for a valid Third-Party conservative candidate, or your so-called principles don't mean squat.
This way you either live an honorable life, not a pretend conservative life.
"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton
"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan
