First US Ebola Patient Dies

Thomas A. Duncan, who became ill with Ebola after arriving from West Africa in Dallas two weeks ago, succumbed to the virus today (Sunday), reports Reuters. Duncan was fighting for his life at a Dallas hospital on today after his condition worsened to critical, according to the director of the US Centers for Disease Control.

The Dallas hospital that admitted him did not recognize the deadly disease at first and sent him home, only for him to return two days later by ambulance.

Adding more oddity to the Israel National News article is it says Reuters reported this.

So if Reuters reported this, they sure pulled it because they are among those reporting who say he is critical.

I agree. Every medical facility should have been notified with a complete national response to this contagion. The newspapers, TV and radio should be alerting the citizens about the appropriate response to flu type symptoms. Otherwise, this upcoming flu season will have people swamping the emergency wards. A simple test that can be administered in a drug store should be available that gives rapid results (anyone who develops such tests will be richly rewarded).

A fast track should be given to the production of the experimental serum ZMapp. This should be put on the level of what was done getting a man on the moon or the Manhattan Project, developing the atom bomb. The clock is ticking.

So, when the CDC says that they have this disease under control, do they mean that they have enough incinerators in place to burn all of the bodies that will pile up?

1. The airlines, which fly people and freight from and to Africa.
2. The businesses which service the air lines and need their business.
3. The need of our left wing progressives to have another unending “war” like the war on poverty. A war on Ebola is the ultimate wet dream of liberals who never let a good crisis go to waste.

The airlines don’t benefit in the long or short run. There isn’t much business going to and from East Africa. Not taking the crisis seriously makes the public nervous and many will stop taking flights overseas. For example, passengers may not want to go to Belgium if these flights connect to East Africa now. Who wants to get on an airplane that just flew out of Monrovia? Do you want to go into that bathroom?

As far as progressives wanting an unending war, it’s not exactly that. The so called progressives of the 0bama administration are not mere liberals or Leftists. They are not the typical Lefty next door who wants to save the earth or help the poor. They are sick, pathetic, totalitarian nut jobs infected with EVIL. The want to destroy America and kill as many God fearing Americans as possible.

I have seen no follow up on the DC, Toronto and some other place in US reports of victims with ebola symptoms.

DC (Howard U) was cleared, as was Maryland. No idea about Toronto.
