When describing my ill thoughts to someone recently about Harry Reid, the person asked me: “Who is worse -- Barack Obama or Harry Reid?” My immediate answer was Harry Reid. I can understand someone taking a different position on that question. Let me explain why there is no one I have ever loathed more in American government than Senator Harry Reid (D-NV), who hereafter will be referred to as the nickname I gave him years ago – The Undertaker.

This article is a classic application of this Alnisky/Obama rule. There is no point in attacking Obama, because that would be racist, but the writer makes Reid the individual who needs to be removed from power for our country’s good. That is a good reason to vote Democrats out of the Senate this year. It has the advantage of being at least to a large extent true, which is always a bonus.

I wonder if all the folks who are worked up over Harry Reid fully supported the alternative, Sharron Angle, when she ran against him in 2010......Angle ended up getting the “Sarah Palin treatment” from the the MSM and the RINO’s and later the RINOstream media, not to mention the business elite in Las Vegas.
Now we must line up to support the GOPe RINO candidates like Tillis, Graham, Cochran, McConnell, Alexander and so on. The Obamacare endorsing, amnesty supporting elites must be supported by grassroots, taxpaying, working conservatives....NOT...
The Uniparty wants to tax and spend and the target is painted on you and me just its been painted on Europeans recently with “austerity measures”. The world is running out of money and the only answer the big political parties have to it is more of the same failed policies of the past-—taxes, spending and maintenance of the welfare state.
Everything the GOPe does is based on polling data, election results, focus groups etc.
There is fear of directly criticizing Obama so the focus is on his competence like the Fox News panel I saw last night.
Reid and Pelosi are relentlessly trashed by the GOPe instead to manipulate our emotions to support liberal Republicans as the alternative.
When it comes to policy on Israel Obama is let off easy, but Kerry gets blasted by Israel’s supporters instead for the hostile policies of Obama.
Harry Reid is vastly overrated here. He is nothing more than a turd who rose to the occasion. Tom Daschle was a squishy moderate U.S.Senator who actually voted with conservatives 35-40% of the time before he became party leader and made a hard left turn. Weasel faced Reid did exactly the same thing.
Anyone who takes his place will do likewise with the possible exception that they will be a hard leftist from the start. The Democrat party no longer feels a need to reach out to moderates on a national basis anymore. The electorate has been so dumbed down that the average dimwit voter thinks Juan McCain or Mitt Romney are conservatives now.
Pretty much the same as which is worse to die from.... Ebola or Bubonic
Well, he got 2 votes against him in our house last time around but........... Well, you know the results. If the gop-e doesn’t foot shoot themselves next month, maybe at least he can be knocked off his throne for the remainder of this term. But as usual, the gop-e keeps alienating actual conservatives.
Reid and Pelosi sold their souls long ago, imo.
He has created a Senate of 1 -- himself. Every piece of legislation, every debate, and every amendment goes through his hands, and basically nothing gets done...we have had no budget most years and again this year... it is all because of Reid.
Harry Reid is owned.
This OVERRATED POS has effectively disenfranchised half of American voters by sitting on over 300 bills passed by the congress. That is an enormous crime and must be punished. I vote for the Guillotine.

Thin skinned, and easily hurt feelings, our purists are as rabid as DU activists, except the contemptuous conservative will cut off nose and stay at home, while his mirror image over at DU will vote 5-10 times.

Frankly, I consider myself an opponent of the purists.
The purists of the media, business and political elite of this country who want to continue spending beyond our means and protect the welfare state including Obamacare at any cost.
The elites back the business as usual polticians of the Uniparty who in their Democrat costumes “trick or treat” as Progressives and in their Republican costumes look like conservatives when they knock on our doors.
But after we elect them they go to Washington to protect special interests, bail them out with taxpayer bucks and try to provide a cheap labor pool to the business elites with amnesty for illegals.
Everything the D’s and R’s do either moves this country further Left or prevents any reversal of the Leftward trend.
Kinda weird how they enter office on a shoe string (some of them anyway) at a fairly decent salary and if and when they leave office (or even while they’re still in office) somehow end up gazillionaires. Must use the same futures advisors the hildebeast used.
The FR Harry Reid Fan Club does not really like Harry Reid. They just consider him to be a better alternative to a Republican led Senate. He provides invaluable cover to an out of control President, and he has enabled a government by administrative fiat that is destroying much of our economic system. It’s time for him to go.
