The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops will receive a federal grant of over $4 million over the next two years to provide legal aid to unaccompanied immigrant children who have entered the United States.
The US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants will also receive a similar grant from the US Department of Health and Human Services.
Kevin Appleby, director of the USCCBs Office of Migration Policy and Public Affairs, told MSNBC that I think its a recognition that many of these children have valid protection claims and they need legal representation.
It is a result of advocacy and raising awareness about why these children are coming and why theyre fleeing, he added.
Borrowing money to provide employment for shyster lawyers.
More American taxpayer dollars so the illegal alien invaders and their so called “lawyers” can pee all over Americans. This is an absolute disgrace. Great job low information Obammy voters!!! Great job! Scumbags!
The government is giving FAR more than that - look up donations given in the name of the Unaccompanied Alien Child Program for the Catholic Charities and you will see that $4M is NOTHING compared to what they are really giving them. They’re not the only ones. This administration is completely complicit in funding the invasion. Obama is an enemy masquerading as the CIC because some idiots with lowered cranial capacity got him elected for their own self preservation and interests.
Why is my hard-earned money being spent to care for illegals?
answer: Democrats are getting their indoctrinated constituents into shape.
And the HOR funds this stuff? The buck stops there.
Isn’t that special.
I thought it’s against the law for the feds to pay for/subsidize legal aid for illegals? is this 4 large being charged back to Mexico, et al?
