Apparently you missed the point of this article — apparently she was trying to leave the apartment. Suppose she did leave her apartment and no one knew. Maybe they didn’t have guards at her door 24/7?

So, it is indeed a risk to have an infected neighbor in an apartment. Apparently, you would you be willing to risk your families lives and well being? Not me.

Sure, having an exposed family just quarantined under the “honor system” is a risk, no doubt about that.

However, if they are properly contained, there is no risk to the neighbors.
